Ratings are end-of-day and describe chart structure. ChartRate is an educational tool, not investment advice.
You don't need another take. You need to know what your charts are actually doing — measured the same way today as yesterday, so a change in the answer means the chart changed, not the mood.

One glance tells you what's strong, what broke, and what's setting up. Every symbol scored by the same engine, on the same bars, on the same morning — so the order means something.
Ten checkable facts per chart, each shown with the number that produced it. When the band sits below what the score implies, the screen says why, right where the gap is — an unexplained gap reads as a lie even when the maths is right.
Every rating names the zone the structure marks out and the price where that structure stops being true. Both are read off the chart itself, never off a round number. It never tells you what to do, because that was never its job.
Every chart is measured against one fixed list — the same list today as yesterday, on the same bars, with no per-name tuning. Which ten, and the number behind each one, is on the detail screen in the app.
The same ten measurements run on every chart, every day. Nothing is added because a name is popular, and nothing is dropped because it scored badly last week.
A near miss is scored as a near miss. Cliff-edge thresholds are what make a rating flip on a rounding error, so there aren't any.
Anything the history can't support is left out of the score rather than counted as a zero, and the read is reported at lower confidence instead.
Switching the timeframe re-runs the whole analysis, so the matrix, the trend read and the band always come from the same bars — they cannot disagree.
Ratings are end-of-day, and every screen that shows one shows the date it came from.
A score of 7.4 pretends to a precision charts don't have. ChartRate commits to one of five words, gated by what the structure actually allows — and the only 0–10 you ever see is the attribute count the band was read from.
A chart on a screen you can't add to a watchlist — a screenshot, a stream, a printout. Photograph it and ChartRate rates only what is visible in the image.
The scan is a separate feature from the deterministic watchlist engine, and it never touches it.
Watchlist ratings are calculated on your iPhone from public end-of-day market data. There's no server deciding what your charts are worth, and an offline morning still shows the last read with the date it came from.
The engine measures structure, then rates, then reads timing — one direction, never backwards. A timing concern can never be expressed by marking a rating down, so “bullish, but stretched” stays two separate facts instead of one muddled one.
Correctness is held in place by hand-labelled historical cases, chosen so the hard ones are represented: charts that ran, charts that topped, charts that looked strong and failed anyway. If a rule and a chart disagree, the case gets re-examined. The rule doesn't get bent to fit.
No tiers, no per-symbol limits, no upsell inside the app. Prices are shown in your store's own currency at checkout.
ChartRate is submitted to the App Store and awaiting review. Subscriptions renew through your Apple ID unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
